James F. Fries, M.D., is
Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and a nationally
recognized expert on wellness programs. His books include the
best-selling health guides Living Well, The Arthritis Helpbook,
Arthritis: A Comprehensive Guide, and also with Dr. Vickery, Taking
Care of Your Child.
Donald M. Vickery, M.D.,
helped develop the first medical decision charts for non-doctors. He
now heads Health Decisions International, creating new ways to deliver
